Routine check

This picture showed on my Facebook today, as a reminder of what I posted a year or two years ago. In fact I was in Peru in 2013, but the picture had to wait over a year to actually be edited.

At the time of editing I was experimenting heavily with Nik Collection and the result was making a version with Analog Efex (see the second picture). However, seeing this picture today I thought it is a lot better than I initially thought and remade it using just Lightroom. I also (finally!) straighten it up :)

Stop winter!

A snowy Montreal Sunday morning - from a week ago. Not that this weekend was any different.

This time I tried a tele-zoom. Has a nice way of bringing the object on the picture closer.

Silence after storm

I guess I still have a thing for rain and black-and-white pictures. But the little Sony's rich B&W is just so good.
These two - could not decide which is better - were taken on the Cleveland's riverside just around the Tower City Center. The storm has already passed, but it was pretty rough.

This guy

Nikon 5100, 200mm, 1/800s @ f/5.3, iso 100
This one has a backstory. After I took the picture with tele lens the guy walked towards me and asked if the photo was good. I told him I doubt it, but thanked him anyway. Yet, after returning home and sorting through hundreds of shots I think this one is one of the best, especially as low-key B&W.
